Darnell May
Darnell May is an author, storyteller, and founder of Aquarian Publishing LLC. Raised in Springfield, Massachusetts, his creative journey began with drawing before evolving into a passion for writing stories that explore imagination, fear, identity, survival, family, and the unknown.
His work spans horror, fantasy, speculative fiction, and children’s literature, including The Forest Hungers, The Red Reflection, The Experience series, and My Big Sis. His storytelling often blends vivid worlds with emotional and psychological themes, placing ordinary people in extraordinary situations that challenge how they see themselves and the world around them.
Through Aquarian Publishing LLC, Darnell also works to support original voices and independent authors while building a growing catalog of distinctive stories across multiple genres. His approach to storytelling is rooted in one belief: every story should leave something behind long after the final page is turned.

Lane Strahan
Lane Strahan is a mother of four young adults whom she homeschooled through some challenging years. During that time, she watched her children experience different emotions that sometimes challenged her patience and often teaching her something, too. She wanted to help them understand and navigate what they were feeling.
Lane learned that she could talk with her children about their feelings in a calm, reassuring way—without being overwhelming or preachy. This opened the door to meaningful conversations.
She wrote Tootie and the Seven Stars to help children name what they feel and find the courage to talk about it, while guiding parents as they support their children through their emotions. Through the Tootie Tootie Book Series, parents and children can learn together how to understand their emotions, express themselves, and feel heard.
Shay Crowson
Shay Crowson is an author from Albany, NY specializing in philosophy and Childrens books. Shay has been writing poetry and short stories since she was a teenager but found her passion to share her stories after over a decade of work in human services. Assisting people in their greatest time of need became a standard and her motivation to turn her stories into a tangible piece of art.
Through her work she aims to help both children and adults navigate through the unspoken troubles of daily life by sharing her knowledge of mental health, emotional intelligence, representation and love.
